LCMS kurs med Magnus Olin
Magnus Olin
Approaching 30 years of experience of LCMS. Equal parts from Bioanalytical Chemistry in Swedish Pharmacceutical companies like Pharamacia and AstraZeneca and from commercial companies. I have worked for Sciex, Agilent and almost 10 years as a specialist in Clinical LCMS for Thermo Fisher Scientific and now 2 years for Shimadzu. Now employed at Shimadzu Europe as Clinical Support Specialist Nordics. I have worked with all vendors instruments and I am well aware that no instrument is best at everything.

What to expect from the course?
During the training course «Introduction to LCMS» I will discuss what makes the mass spectrometer special as a LC detector. The training will cover nominal mass and exact mass (high resolution) instruments, quantitaive analysis and qualitative analysis. You will learn about ion sources, ion focusing, different ways to use the mass spectrometer and how to obtain robust quantitation. You will learn to differentiate between targeted analysis and untargeted analysis. I will explain what MS-Omics is. I will share experiences that are seldom found explicit in text books.
The training course is of course vendor neutral.
You attend by registrering to the course when registrering to the symposium. See you there.
